Canada's Victoria Mboko confirmed she will be Serena Williams' doubles partner next week in London.
Williams, 44, announced her comeback on Monday after nearly four years away from the WTA Tour.
Williams and Mboko will compete at the HSBC Championships at the Queen's Club in West Kensington on the grass courts starting Monday.
'An honor to share the court with one of the greatest athletes of all time this week,' Mboko, 19, wrote on Instagram. 'Even more excited to play doubles together! Tennis is pretty special.'
Mboko's post included a photograph of herself with Williams on the practice court as well as heart and goat emojis, the latter a nod to Williams' G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) status as a 23-time Grand Slam champion.Mboko, ranked No. 9 in the world, has won two singles titles -- 71 fewer than her new doubles partner.
Williams, who received a wild-card entry into the doubles draw, also won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles with her sister, Venus.
