Kelly Olynyk netted a season-high 26 points, one of four New Orleans players who scored at least 20 points as the Pelicans earned a 127-121 victory over the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Sunday night.
Olynyk, a former Jazz player, hit 10 of 14 shots and finished with nine rebounds and four assists. C.J. McCollum drained five 3-pointers en route to 25 points and eight assists, while Zion Williamson scored 24 on 11-for-18 shooting to go along with nine assists and six boards.
Trey Murphy III added 20 points as New Orleans beat Utah for the third time this season.
The Pelicans, who led by as many as 18 points before momentarily falling behind, used a 15-0 run in the fourth quarter to regain the lead and ultimately pick up their fourth win in five games.
Keyonte George led Utah with 28 points off the bench, including five 3s, while Brice Sensabaugh added 21 points.
New Orleans opened the second half on an 8-0 run, including 3s from McCollum and Murphy, to go up 74-57.
Utah clawed back, eventually tying it at 91-91 by closing the quarter on a 13-3 run.
The Jazz took their first lead early in the fourth quarter on a Cody Williams 3-pointer and George, who scored 16 points in the fourth, pushed Utah's lead to 100-94. The Jazz led 108-103 when the Pelicans went to work.
Karlo Matkovic ignited a 15-0 run with a tip shot. McCollum took over from there by hitting three consecutive 3-pointers in less than a minute, and New Orleans surged to a 118-108 lead with four minutes to go.
Utah responded with a late push, scoring five straight points -- a George 3-pointer and a Kyle Filipowski dunk -- to make it a three-point game with 1:47 left.
Williamson, who had missed five straight shots, answered with a driving layup. Olynyk then added another bucket to give New Orleans a 125-118 lead with 24 seconds remaining.
Filipowski finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for Utah, and Oscar Tshiebwe totaled 16 points and 13 boards off the bench.
